[5.0.1] Grid fails to update when changing a value in a BufferStore

When changing a value in a BufferedStore, the grid fails to update. A grid with a regular Store works.

The record is changed via the Set method on a Record.

    I created an example at:

  4. Default

I'm confused. This was supported in 4.2. This limitation is not documented in the API nor is it mentioned in the upgrade guide.

So, how do I handle this use case?

Our app allows a person to select and edit a record in a buffered grid. A window pops up with the fields and when the OK button is clicked, the data is saved to the server. Once a response is received back from the server, our code updates the record in the store and the change is reflected in the grid.

Without the ability to update the record, the entire grid would have to be refreshed by doing another query to the server. This is stupid especially it the query is long running.
