Requires Ext.device.* and the app will not open

I have created a project in Sencha Touch 2.4.0 and Sencha Cmd 5.0.1.231 and Cordova v. 3.5.0

When I create the app without using the requires for Ext.device the app opens fine, but when I start with using a require of e.g. Ext.device.Camera or Ext.device.Connection, it just shows the "landing" page where three blinking bullets are shown, and it will not get further.

I only have a Samsung Galaxy Note Tab 10.1 so I have no possibility for remote debugging (as far as I know), as it is only running Android 4.0.4, and it can not be updated

Do anybody know what the problem is?
