Building an android app with SA 3.1

After opening the project SA asked me to update it, which I did, and afterwards there were those iOS and Android buttons I was looking for. So I tried to manually recreate the project using SA3.1, but after clicking "init phonegap" I only saw the usual "Native build" button. I also tried using cordova, but the same thing happened. So I am wondering, what needs to be done, to have separate build targets for android and iOS like in the CityBars example?
