Deploying to App Store

I have tried to search for this on the forums but I have only found some bit and peaces.

Also I am not sure if in mean time something has changed with the described procedures.

Or if some new procedures or tools are invented.

So how do I do this?

Do I need Apple computer or can get the license without it?

Do I need to learn Phone Gap?

Are there some Sencha Tools for it?

It would be create if there was a sticky for it explaning ALL the steps from getting license from apple to using Phone Gap.

I feel that this is extremely complicated but something that everybody wants to know.
