Prevent focus on all form elements

Is there a way to prevent focus on all elements of a form?

I have a Touch 2.3 app, wrapped with PhoneGap, and on iOS 7, the keyboard shows on every view that has form fields, even when I don't want it to.

A (related) issue is that when the fields do gain focus onShow, it's not always the same field.

For example, on a Login view I have, sometimes the username field get focus, sometimes it's the password field - which is why I'd like to prevent it altogether...
