Creating a Date for a specific Timezone

Hi All,

I have searched a lot for this very common problem where one just cannot create a date for any specific timezone being in a different timezone. I am a little dissapointed to see no exact soltuion to this problem.

I am using ExtJS 4.1 and i am recieving a timestamp value as 1422890602993 from the server located in EST. I want to create a Date out of it for EST timezone. Now since i am in IST it creates GMT +5:30 date time. Is there no proper way of doing it?
