Stop tool tip getting mouse events

Hi,

I have a view that supports mouse movements and shows a tooltip. I have the problem that holding a mouse button and moving quickly can end up selecting text in a tool tip. Is there a way to stop the tool tip receiving any mouse events and let the parent item still receive the onMouseMove events?
