Leveraging ViewModel logic in grid

I have a grid with master/detail.

Here's my problem. I want to use a view model for the presentation logic of each record. This works fine for the detail pane view where I can attach my view model but since the grid is bound to store, and the store deals with models how can I leverage the same view model for each record?
