Ext.Msg slide show and hide animation

I'm trying to customize the direction of Ext.Msg's show and hide animations, but it doesn't seem to respect the direction property.

I set the direction so its slides down from the top and then slides out to the top. Its respecting the easing function and the duration property but not the direction.

Thoughts? Any help is much appreciated! Thanks!
