Default Sencha Touch App not Firing Launch fn

Hello,

Using Touch 2.3.1 and Cmd 4.0.4.84, I generated the default app structure.

I then did a production build and added a simple config.xml file to do BlackBerry packaging.

the default app runs correctly for BlackBerry 10 WebWorks platform in the Ripple emulator. However, when I switch to the WebWorks platform (for OS 7 and lower), the app does not fire the launch function and the loading indicator simply sits. Same situation for the Playbook platform (WebWorks-TabletOS).

There are no console errors. And my log statement within the launch function is never printed.

Actually packaging the app and running it on a BB device results in the same behavior.

I know that OS 7 support is a bit ridiculous at this point, but I was hoping that I could muddle along with a simple app.
