Parent container getting dragged on drag of child container

Hi,

I am using ExtJS 4.2.1.

I have a draggable container within a draggable container. Sometimes (randomly) it so happens that on trying to drag the child container the parent container gets dragged along. This behaviour does not occur all the time but it is quite frequent. I have implemented drag behaviour through DragZone.

I have tried all sorts of hacks but they don't seem to work. The DragZone code for the child container is not executed in this situation instead the DragZone code for the parent container gets executed. Normally, the parent container's DragZone code does not get executed on dragging the child container.

I have tried using preventDefault and stopPropagation but to no avail. I have tried locking too, this locks the parent container from being dragged but the child container's DragZone code still does not get executed.

Could someone please help me out with a solution for this?

Seeking clarification on future Touch licensing

Hi,

Today's mailout mentions that Ext.JS and Touch are merging.

Is it Sencha's plan to charge a per end-user fee to apps packaged using cordova and distributed via app stores in the future? I ask because Ext.JS charges a per end-user fee.

If the answer is yes, that's ok. I would just like to know with more notice than the single dev ExtJS people got, and I think that's not unreasonable given the last 3 years of my life have been spent developing on this platform!

Obviously there's an open door given the open source version of Sencha Touch. This would allow a community to take the latest open source release of Touch and keep it updated, which I understand we'd be allowed to do as long as we in turn released our modifications under the same license.

[4.2] Custom Component fire event when click in a tpl link

I have a custom component with a link into a html tpl, i need when i click in this link the component fire an event to i listen in the controller.

I've tryed to create listener with delegation but i cant get the component scope into the listener.
