store getSorters() returning empty array

on store load, if some filters are available to filter the grid mySore.getSorters() returning an empty array, where as mySote.filters returning the expected value. I would like to know why mySote.getSorters() not returning the expected value which myStore.filters does.



Please help me understand the same. :-/
