performance and memory footprint are the most popular topics that come to mind with ExtJS-built apps.
we made comparison with the default app generated by ExtJS and an almost equivalent one using a popular alternative.
At 4.2.x - the default app-all is around 700 KB about twice using the other library.
With 5.x, it seemed to have crossed the 1 MB boundary.
Looks like we are moving to the wrong direction...
while features are nice - there should be a way to strip down to the barest minimum those classes that are not necessary. but since this is already the default app - chances are this is probably close to the minimum that we can get.
