So I first followed the procedure in "Getting Started with Sencha Touch".
Ran sencha -sdk /path/to/touch generate app MyApp ., and got it working without much trouble.
I was surprised at the number of files it generated, and the convoluted startup sequence using something called microloader. Apparently all the examples with 2.3 seem to use the same structure and index.html
Next started reading "Using and Creating Builds" to find out how to build my own app.
The example index.html looks familiar, but completely different from the one generated in "Getting Started"...although the doc refers back to "Getting Started..." if you don't already have a working application.
It also refers to an example (twitter) that is no longer in the latest version of Touch.
This is really confusing.
Questions:
Is the structure produced by sencha generate now the preferred model for Touch applications?
If yes, what is the process for building the application after changes...because "Using and Creating Builds" seems irrelevant to 2.3.
What is the best doc for learning how to build a Touch 2.3 app.
Thanks
