Best practices

Hi, Im new to Architect. I've been reading about the best practices when designing apps using ExtJS, all the samples show that you should create a new class of type "usertypeclass" so when you instantiate the userclass all the configurations are done, and you have methods, properties and all configured to your needs. This also helps in getting an organized code, etc. The thing is that in Architect I drag and drop the components that I need and I can't type the user class. Im going to try using Promote To Class, all I wanted to know if this is the right way to do it, since the code is auto-generated by Architect. Thanks.
