Environment details:
Sencha Cmd 4.0.2.67
Sencha Architect 3.0.2.1375
Framework ExtJS 4.2
Windows 7
Path to where I am today:
- Generated a workspace
- Generated a demo app to demonstrate a custom theme
- Generated a new package that inherits from the ext-theme-neptune.
- Modified the styles via the mechanisms provided in the sass directory of the new package.
- Build the demo app and successfully shows the theme being applied.
- I have brought Architect projects into the workspace.
- I can change the referenced theme and build those projects with Cmd to use the new theme.
Problem:
I can't figure out how to import the theme package into Sencha Architect. I've seen one post that mentions bringing in the output css as a resource, but that brings architect to it's knees, and doesn't seem correct. It seems like I should be able to bring in a theme just like Neptune and make available for applying as a theme.
I've spent several business days trying to figure this out. I can't find documentation or forum posts trying to achieve this. It seems like the closest thing to what I'm trying to do is to use a user extension. But when I manually zip up my package into a .aux file, Architect says that it is an invalid package (with no further details).
Desired Approaches:
- I'd like for Sencha Architect to see the package in my workspace and allow me to apply it as a theme to my apps.
- Or, if I have to import it, I'd like to see some documentation specifically on how to import a theme package created with Sencha Command into Architect.
